Help Us With Updates

Things change, and it's hard to keep up, so your help is needed. Some of this list comes from the 2010 edition of Cats USA magazine. I've done my best to clean and expand that list, and verify that sites are up at the time of this writing.

I've also uncovered some harder to find breed rescue groups, but some of these pure breed cat rescue sites haven't been updated in a while. Sometimes that's simply because they're primarily using another medium to spread the word. Other times, it's because the breed is rare, and there isn't much call for rescues for that breed.

Unfortunately, that may also mean that there are very few people with the expertise to be able to spot these treasures. In those cases, you'd have to rely on a rescue that services all breeds of cat if you'd like to adopt or foster, or if you have a cat in need of rescue.

If you have any information or updates on any of these or other cat rescue groups or organizations, please submit it as a listing.

If approved, the listing will appear on the site. Thanks so much!
