Why does my girl meow all night?

She's 9, was a feral kitten and little by little (it took nearly 5 years), she comes to me for loving and trusts me. I cried the first time she got on my chair with me!!
But sometimes, in the middle of the night, of course, she'll go into the kitchen and meow over and over as loudly as she can. I've checked food, water, and litter boxes. They are fine.
When I go in there she disappears, but when I see all is fine and go back to bed, she starts again! Any ideas or suggestions?
