What is this small hole on my cat's back?

I was petting my cat when I noticed this small hole on her back. I'm very worried. What could this be? Can I cure her with antibiotics? I cleaned the area with some water. Please help!!

Hi, I'm so sorry your cat is hurt. It looks like it could be an animal bite- if your cat goes outdoors. It could also be a parasite. Your best bet is to have a vet take a look and find out how to treat it.

I'm sorry to hear your cat has a wound. If your cat has a puncture wound and it's not properly treated, it may get infected. If it's a deep puncture wound, the risk is even greater and there's no way to know what other damage may have been caused (or by what) without a veterinarian.

If it's something other than a puncture wound, it needs to be diagnosed and treated properly. Please consult with your veterinarian to make sure your kitty gets the proper diagnosis and treatment.
