My sibling kittens that have been raised together are now estranged. Is this normal?

I rescued what I thought was a tiny 4-week-old feral kitten until I reached down and found an even tinier kitten, with one eye still shut, curled up with him. They have been inseparable house cats for the past 3 years until now.

The Male cat (the one I thought I was saving) has decided that the only time he even acknowledges his sister (the one curled up with her brother) is to chase her and jump on her to run her away from us or something he wants.

She is clinging to us and wandering around crying in a way that we would expect if we had physically lost him. Is this normal for the Male to do everything with her, including crying if he got separated from her, and now just ignore her?

Kittens

I have three Norwegian forest cats. (three brothers) I have taken care of my boys since they could hardly walk. All three of them have their own territory in the house. The boys still eat together every morning though. I'm not sure if this is abnormal as a person might think that as they get older to a certain extent they go their own way.

This happens

This happens sometimes, but I think it's possible that some event happened to trigger it. It could have been something subtle you didn't notice or something that happened when you weren't around. You can try working with them using treats, mealtime, and playtime and see if they can get closer again.
