My cat is getting weak

My cat is getting weak. What I can do? My cat stopped playing with me. I don't know why. He always sleeps and can't run so fast, can't open his eyes easily. I don't know why. Can you tell me what's going on with him?

Editor's note: Maisha, there are many reasons why your cat may be experiencing weakness, sleeps too much, and can't open his eyes.

With these symptoms (sleeping to much, weakness, inability to jump high or run, etc.), I would assume that he is either seriously ill or injured.

He may have gotten into something poisonous, been bitten by an animal, insect, or spider, or he may be injured. He may have a virus or bacterial infection, or he may have a serious medical condition such as kidney failure.

If it were my cat, I would assume that his life is in danger, and I would take him to the veterinarian immediately.

I'm sorry to hear that your cat is having problems, but there is no way to guess about his condition. The veterinarian is your only option. Please let us know how he gets on.
