How do I treat my cat with scabs on her head?

My cat has scabs all over her neck and head from scratching because of fleas. I've treated her for the fleas but she still continues to scratch.

I've tried everything I can think of to help, from taking her to the vet, to trying to give her a bath. I've even put her in infant clothing to keep her from scratching to keep her from getting a infection.

How do I treat her if I can't even get her to stop scratching?

Try rubbing coconut oil on her, it will heal her scabs and help her coat.

Calm her down....

This happened to my cat Belmont after I got rid of his fleas. He still scratched even though there were no more fleas. I think it's a psychological thing when this happens, almost like a habit that they can't get rid of. Maybe they DO feel something, but I'm not sure. What I would try is Feliway, which is a calming cat pheromone that they sell in the pet stores. It should calm your cat down enough so she doesn't want to keep scratching. I hope it works for her!! Good luck!!
