Does anyone have an indoor cat and an outdoor cat?

How do you go about it? Mine currently has a cat door and goes out when she pleases. We can't do that when I get a second.

Keep them both inside!!

I'm assuming that you don't live in an area that has coyotes, fast moving cars or psycho-human cat abusers, which is why you let your cat go outside. I would not let the first cat go outside anymore. Life expectancy for outdoor cats is much lower than if you keep them safe and happy indoors!

Thanks for the comments. They do sell doors that have one-way locks, etc. Picked up my new babies yesterday!

Not sure

I'm not sure you can have a cat door and only have one cat use it. You may have to resort to letting the cat in and out of the door rather than using the cat door.

I have an indoor cat but he can't go out without his harness and the I have a 6 ft chain and attach it to him and he is free to roam.
