Cat kill questions

I have a 28-month-old female, neutered. There is a big neighborhood cat who if they stand off, they yell, hiss, and spit at each other. Now the neighborhood cat leaves kills for my cat outside the cat flap. Do cats leave each other gifts of prey (rather than me) and why if they hate each other?
