Blood and Slimy White/Yellow Stuff?

I was playing with my kittens, Taylor and Tyler, when Tyler suddenly started meowing continuously. We were on the carpet so Tyler went on the tiled floor and sat there, then left.

I checked it and he peed or pooped slimy white/yellow stuff with blood in it. He's only 7 weeks old and I got him two days ago. And they are my first ever pets. Is something wrong? Do I need to take him to the vet?

My Thoughts: I'm sorry to hear that your kitty is having problems. I don't know the history of the cats, and if you just got them, you obviously don't know their history either.

The thing is, even if you got them from a breeder, young cats can have worms or other ailments. Worms in young cats can be serious, and seven weeks is very young.

If there's blood in it, I would definitely call the vet, yes. On top of that, his meowing may indicate that he was in pain.

I hope that helps and please let us know what the vet says.

I would definitely make him an apt with the vet asap. At 7 weeks old, he should still be with his Mom!
