Wyatt from Wisconsin

Wyatt (Wy-Wy, Wyers, Little Buddy), was adopted from a shelter with his brother George. From the beginning, Wyatt was playful and curious, even playing fetch with pipe cleaners with me.

He loved being a part of whatever we were doing. He would sit on the table while I did my homework, lay on the armrest next to my mom, and follow my dad around and beg for food with his raspy meow.

At about 9 years old, Wyatt started eating less. We took him to the vet, and learned that his kidney had failed without anyone noticing, and now his second kidney had failed too.

We left him with the vet to see what they could do for him, but due to a miscommunication, our kitty was put down without our consent. We never got to say goodbye until we buried him in our garden, wrapped up in a blanket, cold and stiff.

I miss my kitty so much, and I only hope we can do better with George. Rest in peace, little buddy.

RIP Wyatt

I'm sorry for your loss. That's a terrible thing that happened. You'd think that veterinarians would have a triple check in place before doing anything like that to a patient. RIP Wyatt.

RIP Wyatt. It's horrible he was put down without your consent. I would be devastated.
