Raw fed cats here too
I had two cats develop crystals while on a 'premium' all life stages dry cat food. I had another become diabetic. While feeding a raw diet, these conditions cleared up.
Editor's note: The above was submitted a-nony-mousely, but I've heard similar stories from others. Whether or not the raw food is responsible for the changes is hard to say, but this is a recurring theme.
