Outside female feral cat found in attic

We have an outside female feral cat. She usually sticks pretty close to home, but she has been missing for several days.
A day ago I discovered she had found her way into our attic. I know how she got into the attic and I've been calling her and trying to entice her to come out the way she got in.
She is very shy and does not like to be touched. I think if I go into the attic, she will just run away from me. Do you think she will eventually find her way back out? Any suggestions? Thanks, John.
