Is Science Diet a good cat food brand?

Our vet recommended Science Diet and we use it along with wet food. Is this a good product? We have a Siamese who is fairly picky.

My neighbor thinks Science Diet is not good. I think it's OK, but there are better brands, like Wellness or Weruva.
