Is it time for another cat?

Two weeks ago I had to put my 2-year-old cat down due to lily toxicity. His brother (both from the same litter) is doing ok. He’s eating normally, drinking water, and very hyper/wanting to play. The only thing is at night he will walk around the house and cry and it seems he gets lonely. Is getting another cat a good idea to keep him company?

It's hard to tell what to do in these situations, but if it feels right, I'd adopt another cat. Keep them separated at first and then slowly introduce them.
