Is it normal after shots to be lethargic?

My cat got a feline 4-in-1 booster this morning and hasn’t moved all day. The vet said she may be sleepy all day, but when I picked her up she cried like she was in pain and she is acting like her hip is bothering her. Should I be concerned?

I'm sorry to hear cat is having problems. I would call the vet as soon as possible. My vets have always told me that a cat will sleep more than normal and perhaps not be as social after shots.

But, if it seems like your cat is in pain and/or being too lethargic, I would get guidance from my vet as soon as possible. I hope she's doing better.
