by Mary Kay
(Houston, TX, USA)

I have a 10 months old cat, she got spayed surgery 2 days ago. The incision looks normal but very hot when I touch it. The cat body temperature is normal, only the incision area is hot. is this normal?

Thank you.

Could be infected

Excessively warm incision areas could be a sign of infection. I would call your vet and get some guidance.
