How can I help mama cat get to her kittens?

Mama cat transferred the kittens to a small size holed sewer where its hard for human hands to enter. So, I cannot move the kittens elsewhere, and the kittens keep crying for their mama. But mama cat does not react to the babies' cries


I don’t know what to do in such situations. Even though I put mama cat near the sewer, she doesn't react. What am I supposed to do?

Wow, you have a problem. It sounds like Mama cat is not bonding with the kittens. It happens sometimes. She may or may not want them, or is perplexed on how to get them out. In the interim, take action. There are gadgets like 'grabbers' that you may be able to use to reach in to the kittens. If that fails, call the fire department. They can do wonders in these situations. PLEASE, do something now. Let us know how things are going. Don't give up !

It could be that mama is ignoring her kittens when you're around, thinking that she's keeping them safe. I'm sure she tends to them when you're away. Perhaps you shouldn't hang around them so much, as that would mean that you are actually getting in the way of mama doing her job.
