Catching a cat who has diarrhea

A cat I am fosteing has giardias and I need to clean her after every bm. She has learned to hide from me after using the litter box and is even wary of any treat I put out to try to catch her to use a baby wipe. This needs to happen fairly quickly after she goes so she doesn't get any surface dirty and reinfect herself. What can do to catch her or make her less scared after a bw?
