Cat will only fall asleep to ringing bell

by Isa

About a month ago we moved to a new house and my cat has been meowing and howling at night. Since the move, she's been attached to this toy with a bell on it.

She always sleeps with it at night, but she would still randomly wake up and meow. Now I’ve been bringing the toy to my bed and playing with it and my cat falls asleep to that. She won’t meow the whole night. just wondering why that is?

Kitty"s Lovable Behavior
by: Ellyb

Hi,

My best guess is that the ball makes her feel more safe in her new home.

You may want buy several of those balls and keep them in different rooms of your house or add your own scent in your room and all rooms until kitty is more secure.

Good luck

She likes the attention

It sounds like you found the right combination. Attention from you and the toy have satisfied her.
