Rocky.Com from Maspeth

Rocky.Com was the sweetest cat you would ever want to know. I rescued him from an abandoned building when he was about 3 months old.

One day in 2011, we saw he was limping, and took him to the vet. He had a lump on his paw and it was cancer.

In October of 2011, they amputated his leg. He was doing fine, but then in March of 2012, he didn't want to eat anymore. The vet said his heart was getting weak, and he developed pancreatitis.

I think he went into a very bad depression after the surgery, and it seemed like he had no will to live anymore. We had to put him to sleep March 7, 2012. He was only 12 years old.
Miss you my sweet boy.

I truly am sorry for your loss!! I have had cats all my life. Now I have 10 wonderful cats and 2 dogs. I love them very very much. Losing our friend and companion is heart breaking. I understand how you feel, because this happened to me few times. Of course I suffer for a long time, but I gave a home to another as soon as I could. I hope you bring home another kitty who needs loving family.

Sorry for your loss

Cancer is such an unfair thing. I found a great home for one of my cats, Gizmo's, brother. He developed bone cancer and had to be put to sleep. His people adored him like you adored Rocky.

Cats can be such a comfort, but losing them, especially to things we have no control over, is so heartbreaking.

You can never replace Rocky, but maybe in honor of Rocky, you can rescue another poor kitty soul.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have two boys. One is a cat named Boots, The other is my dog named Peewee. I love them both as though they are my children as they are. It must be very hard on you. I just wanted you to know, I understand how you must feel.

"Miss Boo"
by: Anonymous

We are sorry for your loss. We had to put our female cat, Peanuts down also about a few years ago. She was a darling. However, we got a new cat that same year, named "Miss Boo" and she is a great cat. She is still with us 7 years later, and is very friendly and very healthy. We got Miss Boo when she was about 3 months old.
