Spice from Jackson

by Joyce
(Jackson, TN)

Today, 1/26/2015, my Spice passed away. She was a yellow tabby with big green eyes. I found her 13 years ago at the place where I worked. When I came in early, my friend told me a little cat was sitting and crying under a car.

She wouldn't come to anyone, but she did come to me. She was very tiny, not even a pound, and we became best friends. I will always remember her and in doing so, I can never forget. She is with her friend Minnie now. I love you both.

I am so sorry for your loss. And I am glad you put your feelings of the love for your cat on this page. It helps you and us. And those like myself who've lost cats to death. But they are right beside you always and in your heart, and at RAINBOW BRIDGE. Waiting for you and me when the time is right.

Funniest thing, went into Goodwill today, always just look around. There was a picture staring right at me, a little black cat and a
Spice cat, looking into a pasture. It was Spice and Minnie, weird isn't it??

Hi: I am so sorry that Spice passed away. She is in cat heaven now, running and playing and having a great time. Love to Spice and you and your family. I had a cat named Cinammon. She, too, is in cat heaven.

Sincerely,

Thelma

losing kitties tears at your heart
by: Anonymous

So sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my beloved kitties one after the other as all 6 were the same age. One thing a dear friend of mine did was take me to see some cats with no homes. My friend hid some in his car and the kitties never made a sound. When I got home my friend just let the little cats in. I still had my older kitty, the last of the crew, I thought I can't do with this I've just lost my precious friends. My friend left to get some groceries and phoned to say his car had broken down. I had to look after the kitties until he could get to me, and when he did I just could not let them go back to the cat rescue. In that short time, though they did not ease the hurt I felt with losing my dear kitty friends, they made me realise I could not be without some kitties. Moral of my story, as hard as it may seem, try to get a couple of kitties straight away. They won't heal the pain of your loss, but they will grab hold of your heart.
