Spike

Spike

Spike was 16 years old. We got him when he was a baby and he was brought up with my 3 children.

He was more than a pet, he was my fourth child. 29th April, we found him laid in neighbor's garden. He looked like he'd been sunbathing.

May 1st, we gave him a lovely funeral in his favorite place in the garden.

Love and miss him so much. R.i.p. Spike xxxx

So so sorry. It's devastating to lose a member of your family like that and he was a good age. I always bury our cats in the garden when they pass because it feels like they are still with us. I am a mad cat lover.
God bless spike.
RIP

What a lovely way to cross the rainbow bridge. It's sad when they just disappear. We have fox, hawks, and various other predators that will take a small cat, so all our three rescue cats aren't even allowed to look at the door. lol. Indoors ONLY, no burial, when they vanish. I miss them, and learned to keep them safe inside.

How painful

I lost two cats in April. So very hard. At least you know where he is, I've also had some that just never came home.
