Cat Memorial: Sylvester from Australia

(Australia)

To our darling Sylvester who passed away on January 6, 2013. You mean so much to us. You were a loving member of our family who was always willing to give some affection and cuddles.

You first belonged to nanna but then you moved in with us and we became your people. You were fun and playful and loved playing with bits of foil rolled up into a ball, bobby pins and the lids off of pens.

We would find you sitting on the grill, in the window overlooking the garden at our old house, with your tail in the toaster, on someones bed, on the table, the bench (though you never quite seemed to fit), every chair in the house and we would find you wherever we went.

You were so happy after we moved houses last year and started letting you outside. You had your naughty side; you liked to get into fights and rip up furniture, but you were young and learning. We would love you no matter what.

Our house is empty without you. I see you everywhere and on everything. Your fur is still on everything you see.

I miss you sleeping on my bed and coming when I call your name. You mean the world to me.

It is unfair that you were taken from us so soon. You were so young, and had so much life yet to live.

I hope, wherever you are now, that you are at peace and in no pain. I hope that you are happy

We will never ever forget you darling. You have changed all of us, made us different people. There is a lifelong place in our hearts reserved just for you.

If I could do anything in the world, to trade places with you, I would do it in a heartbeat. You are just that important. Everybody needs a cat like you in their lives.

I will think about you everyday. Hear you purring while I sleep. I will see things that you love, and that will make me think of you. I love you Sylvester, so, so much.
