Smokey

Smokey with his golf ball

He wandered into our yard the Summer of 2006. We didn't believe our brother when he said he had found a cat - but we finally looked and it was true!

We were SO happy when we were allowed to keep him. I was afraid that he would run away while we where inside but when I ran back out he came running up to me!

He loved to eat chicken scraps, paw at and bite string and paw around a golf ball!

He died in mid-December 2008 when our baby got run over by a car. We miss him so much. Even though we have two great cats now (Tiger Lily & Daisy) we still miss him!

Had one that looked just like Smokey, but his name was Sparky and he had us 13 years. He was our last "outside cat" and met a similar fate to Smokey. We tried to make him an indoor cat but he just couldn't do it, he was too set in his ways. We will always miss the big guy, he was the best cat ever!
