Fruit Loop

Fruit Loop

We didn't have Fruitloop for very long. Roughly six months. She was an adorable kitten. Long hair, patches of caramel, white, and grey tones about her. However, she had a heart/lung condition that we never got to diagnose.

Everyone said that if we brought her to a vet, they would put her down, and we couldn't bear the thought of that. So, we kept her. She ended up getting pregnant, and had a heart attack, or some kind of lung problem, and couldn't breath.

Eventually she ended up dieing at roughly 4 am at the top of the staircase, in the doorway to my brothers room, (Since she was his baby girl). We ended up burying her in the back yard beside our dog.

Thanks guys. =] She was probably the most beautiful cat I have ever had. We had hypothetically talked to a couple of doctors about her. And were planning on bringing her in a week after the time that she died.

They had all said that from the way we described it they thought she was underdeveloped. They more or less suggested they would have put her to sleep had she not had a home, and had gone to a pet store. So did the woman at the pet store that is friends with my mother.

Pet shops don't like that kind of stuff when they are selling an animal. That is part of the reason why we took her in, and of course everyone loved her, how could you not fall in love with that face =].

Then she got pregnant. That we couldn't tell my brother about when she died. BUT he figured it out on his own. Unfortunately there was nothing we could do about them either. =/

She Looks Beautiful

I agree with Margaret. She looks beautiful in that picture. I'm sorry to hear about her passing. I think we need more vets who deal specifically with severe health problems in cats.

Pretty Kitty

The Kitty is so pretty. That is too bad that she had a bad heart or lungs. I can't imagine that a veterinarian would put a cat to sleep without trying something. There are so many wonderful medications now.
