Drops latest kill at my feet

One time my cat came home and he had this thing in his mouth and he was attempting to be sneaky about it. At first I thought it was a banana peel (yeah not my brightest moment) and I thought well that's weird... since when does my cat dig in the garbage for trash... particularly banana peels?

So I got up and said Boots whats that in your mouth mister? And he literally looked up at me, dropped this thing at my feet, and proceeded to sit at my feet with this really proud look on his face. But when I bent down to take a closer look at this thing, it turned out to be the bottom half of a dead rabbit. My family has never let it go that my kitty brought me home half of a dead rabbit and dropped it at my feet.
