Whitey

My Whitey has a couple of what feel like moles or warts on his body, they are colorless and kind of hard feeling.

Anyone have any ideas on what they could be? They don't seem to bother him at all.

I would check with a vet
by: Kurt (Admin)

I believe the only way to know for sure is to have a veterinarian look at them. If they're growths under the skin rather than on the skin, then one guess would be that these are lipomas, a type of fatty tumor.

One of my cats, Teddie, had a lipoma once, which grew fairly large. My vet at the time aspirated and biopsied the tissue. The lab results came back benign, but my vet said it was best to remove it.

Teddie had the procedure to remove it and after a few days of recovery, all was well.

Here's an article on common types of bumps and lumps cats get on their skin.
