Cat milk is making my kitten sick

by Becky

For the past few weeks, my 5 month old kitten has been having one small bowl of milk a day. I've been using the Wilko own brand cat milk (it's cheap and my kitty seems to love it) but he’s started being sick quite a lot. He is still his usual self and doesn’t seem ill in any way even though he has been sick.

I thought it may be the milk, so I’ve stopped giving him it for the past week and he’s been fine.

Has anybody else had a similar problem and managed to find a specific brand that their cat is OK with? He really does love milk but I don’t want him to be sick, so if I could find one he is OK with that would be great!

Cat-Sip
by: Jim W.

In the U.S., there's a product called Cat-Sip. If you can get it where you are, you could try that. I've also known people to just buy milk with the lactose removed. There's a product here called Lactaid, but I don't know if you have it where you are. Hope that helps!
